The book that finally identifies the “mystery ketch”. The book that finally cracks the case. Ben Smart. Olivia Hope. Scott Watson. Unmissable. Unprecedented. Unexpected.

Just finished reading Elementary. I could not put the book down. Absolutely compelling. I have read all the publications regarding the Sounds murders and yours is by far the closest to the truth. Congratulations for finally bringing this mystery to finality. I hope you get the accolades you are due for this publication. Best regards. Gary Fredericksen

The finest investigative journalism I have ever read.

This book is difficult to read. I found I had to jump backwards and forwards to follow it; and it certainly should have been proof read before publication. I don’t doubt the conclusion that Watson is in the right place, but not because of what I read here. The author adds nothing to his work by slamming others who have written on the case. Not a good read, and not a book I would recommend.

Seriously good book which pretty much answers every question I ever had about the case. Occam’s razor is brought to bear with devastating results for all who have ever taken an interest in this evil and terrible affair that has haunted New Zealand for 18 years.
